1 Hour Bay Explorer

There's no time to get bored on our original and most popular trip.  It's a firm family favorite & offers great value.  Covering around 10 miles on an average trip, you'll be amazed at what we can fit into 1 hour.  First we head out to Cardigan Island, owned by the Wildlife Trust of South and West Wales and an important nesting area for a variety of sea birds.  We then explore the coast between the Island and Mwnt, the area we most regularly see our resident bottlenose dolphins.  Our average sighting rate for bottlenose dolphins and/or harbour porpoise on these trips is 72%.  Time permitting (sometimes we just can't tear ourselves away from the dolphins!), we head across the border to Cemaes Head where the highest sea cliffs in the Pembrokeshire National Park await, together with secluded beaches very popular with grey seals and some great sea caves, a particular favorite for the children on-board.  (Yes our boats will fit in the caves!)

Suitable for all ages.

This trip is offered March — October depending on tide and weather conditions.

1.5 & 2 Hour Extended Bay Explorer

Our premier trips, for the more serious wildlife watcher, offering what is probably the ultimate dolphin watching experience in UK waters.  Building on everything our 1 hour Bay Explorer offers, but with extra time to explore further along the coast, increasing your chances of finding our resident bottlenose dolphins and/or giving you more time to spend with them.  On a 1.5 hour trip we can cover up to 20 miles, taking us as far north as Aberporth and on a 2 hour trip as much as 28 miles taking us as far north as Llangrannog & Ynys Lochtyn.  Our average sighting rate for bottlenose dolphins and/or harbour porpoise on our extended trips is 90%.

Please Note

Please remember that although we know all the best places to look, we are dealing with wild animals and therefore specific sightings cannot be guaranteed.

We understand that caves are particularly popular with children and our skippers will try to ensure a visit during your trip.  However in certain weather or tidal conditions this may not be possible.
