Offshore Explorer

New for 2025, our Offshore Explorer trip is for when you just can’t get enough time on the water.

Planned around ideal weather opportunities, these trips will be available to book a maximum of a week in advance once, only we spot a suitable weather window. 

After visiting our usual wildlife hot spots of Cardigan Island, Mwnt & Aberporth by picking the calmest of days we will be able to explore further offshore, into the deepest waters of Cardigan Bay and further west beyond edge of the Special Area of Conservation.  As well as our resident bottlenose dolphins, who knows what else we might see!?  Sightings in these areas have previously included other species of dolphin such as common dolphin, rissos dolphin and even minke whales & a fin whale!  

These adventures are not to be confused with other 3 or 4 hour trips you’ll find advertised along the coast.  Our boats allow us to cover some serious ground heading as much as 20 miles offshore.

New for 2025 we don’t know what our sighting rates will be on these specially arranged trips.  However, we’d expect it to be at least as good as our 2 hour trips on which we see bottlenose dolphins/porpoise on over 90% trips.  Join us to find out together!
